Have you ever wondered how Brickell Key got its triangular shape? In history it has been known that in the late 1970s Swire Properties bought this land after Edward N. Claughton, Sr. created a 44 acre triangular tract, which is how Brickell Key remained with its triangular shape to this day.

Today Brickell Key is known to be a family-friendly island with [2] office towers and a marketplace to accommodate its residents.

Acknowledged as a 5 star key, Brickell Key has The Mandarin Oriental, which earned 3 wins and received award for its hotel, spa and restaurant.

Swire is continuously improvising Brickell Key to meet residents' standards making what it is today. The journey for the island continues.
